Acting Legend To Teach Orton, Others How To Look Less Perpetually Confused

He knows what you did last summer

Crazy Vince McMahon has finally realized what the rest of us have known all along: that having lots of acting sketches with people who can't act, despite being industry standard, is not good for ratings. Fortunately one of this generation's finest actors is already with WWE creative, and he'll be sharing his lifetime of acting skillz with the WWE family:

Vince McMahon feels that the wrestlers need to become much better actors. He feels that Raw has to be able to stand up to the standards of acting on a regular television show, and a lot of the wrestlers in backstage vignettes aren't very good actors. Freddy Prinze Jr. is working with Michael Hayes and Christopher DeJosephs, and is now trying to teach the guys better acting skills.

These workshops should be riveting. "It has to feel natural... when I was filming a guest shot on 'Family Matters,' man, me and Urkel just had this chemistry, and we capitalized on it. We just said, f__k the script, let's make it real. Same thing for when I did 'Detention: The Siege at Johnson High.' They still talk about that one on the Lifetime TV web bulletin boards."

Maybe it's the cold medicine, but I think I read somewhere that in return, WWE will teach Prinze how to wrestle, and then he and MIke Adamle will go on to win the tag belts from David Arquette and Judy Bagwell at Cyber Sunday.
