The parade of debacles continues for Terry Bollea aka Hulk Hogan aka "that big bald son-of-a-bitch"
According to the website Housewares Live:
The Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill, launched in direct competition to the hugely-successful George Foreman low-fat grills, has been exposed as a fire hazard.
The product can cause cooking oil to burst into flame, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The grill was sold through the QVC shopping channel, both in the US and in the UK. It has now been recalled in the US, and a spokesperson for QVC in the UK told HousewaresLive.net: "We don't sell it any more".
The Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill was launched by QVC in the UK last August, priced at around £100, as a rival to Salton Europe's George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machines.
The key difference between the two brands is that fat drains off to the side in the George Foreman products, but drips into the middle of the cooking surface in the Hulk Hogan line.
"Other than that, it does another 15 to 20 things George's grill can't do," wrestler Hogan said at the launch.
I have been working on a big piece about the Hulkster but I couldn't let this latest thing go without jumping in a bit early.
Terry Bollea is a menace to society. He lectured children about saying their prayers and taking their vitamins; unfortunately the vitamins that he was taking came from shady doctors in illegal transactions. He let his children run wild, exploited his entire family for fame, and allowed his daughter to think she has an ounce of musical talent.
To Hulk Hogan, the world of professional wrestling never ended. It just consumed his real life. Everything to him is another payday, another "work". Visiting his son in jail, Hogan wants to talk about their next reality television deal and how to exploit tragedy for the sake of more fast cars and oceanside mansions.
Once upon a time, Hulk Hogan brought wrestling from the fringe into the mainstream. That will never excuse his enormous shortcomings as a man.

Yeesh. Hulk has made a mess of things, for sure. He may need that reality tv cash to keep his kid out of jail.
We all looked up to Hulk Hogan; he was a living legend. Now we see the guys no different than the rest of us. I mean sure, we all him for what he's not today, but how many of us could have lived the way he modeled his whole image by?
I'm not defending Hogan, but I can't throw the book at him either, he is after all a human being, not what they sold us or what we made him into.
