Cowboy Bob Yuma

Wrestling Observer reports that Cowboy Bob Yuma has passed away at age 54.

To call me a novice about Arizona wrestling would be an insult to novices, but fortunately Arizona Wrestling Legends has a nice profile for those who, like me, knew not of the Cowboy. Definitely check out the article link at the bottom of the profile, which features a hysterical quote from rival "Maniac" Mike Gordon:

"He has an unfair advantage over us and that's his ugliness. I refuse to wrestle him any more, unless he wears a mask, because whenever I wrestle him I lose my concentration. All I can think about in the ring is all of his ugliness staring back at me, and I get sidetracked, then make a mistake and lose."
