Our first out-of-town show! Unfortunately, Amy was unable to make it to this show, which makes this the first and last appearance of the Brady-Melodie duo. This is a good thing since neither of us can figure out where we're at in a song without the drums. A very solid set in my opinion. We played "It Won't Be Long" the original way (with an alternate guitar tuning) and otherwise ripped through the rest of the songs very fluidly. The booking manager, George, and the owner, James, paid us, which makes me a professional musician for the first time since 1995 and the first time for this band ever! Only other downside besides having no drummer was that the Dunkin Donuts on State Street had no decaf and refused to brew more. Hmph. At least the chocolate-covered cake donuts were good.
